Ile aux Cerfs Mauritius
Mauritius shelter a paradise Island for sea lovers, the Deer Island (ile aux cerfs). This uninhabited island is one of the most beautiful sites of the island but also one of the most visited a must-see attraction in the east coast near the shore of Trou d’eau douce.
There are different ways to access the Deer Island, by shuttle or taxi boat for a trip that lasts about 20 minutes or through an excursion by catamaran, speed boat or by pirate ship.
The shuttle starts at 9 am then you are free to explore the island as you please and spend the day or half day. The Deer Island invites you to relax on its beautiful white sand beaches, in the shade of palm trees; you will be charmed by this clear water that encourages snorkelling, but also to take part in the various water sports available.
You will discover in the heart of the island, a lush of tropical vegetation, mangrove or waterfalls accessible by boat. If you spend the day on the island, there are two very good restaurants; the Marsala that offer Indian cuisine and the restaurant Paul & Virginie specialties of fish and seafood.
